Aston Martin Rapide is the most gorgeous high-end luxury sedan in the world. Still, it can be improved and the manufacturer actually done that.

Now, there is Rapide Luxe, which was just unveiled by Aston Martin UK. It is a combination of highly desirable functional features, a greater choice of paint and leather finishes as standard, and unique features including bespoke accessories.

The car can be ordered with 20? 20-spoke alloys with polished finish, full grain leather interior with a choice of colors from the Fast Track or Contemporary ranges, and a luxury entertainment set for rear passengers. This entertainment set includes a 6-disc DVD player, auxiliary input, wireless headphones, and a remote control. Oh, and, of course, unique Rapide Luxe sill plaques.

The 2011 Aston Martin Rapide is the most significant car launched by the storied British automaker since Dr. Ulrich Bez took over the reins in July 2000.

The Rapide looks like Aston Martin’s DB9 because that’s largely what it’s based on. The cars share numerous components including a 6.0-liter V-12 engine, good for 470 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque; a rear-mounted “Touchtronic 2? six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters; and various body panels and suspension components.

In the interior of the Astor Rapide is the leather-skinned interior which one would normally expect from Aston, with appropriate wood and brushed metal trim.Because of the plenty of room available in the front side, there shall be quite easy entry and exit to the front seats.
