Just like the C63 AMG sedan and wagon variants, power output stays the same via a 6.3-liter (6208cc) V8 engine with 451 hp (336 kW / 457 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. Connected through a seven-speed SpeedShift MCT transmission, the coupe dashes from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, also the same as the C63 sedan. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph) while fuel consumption using the combined NEDC figures remains a thirsty 12.0 L/100km. The optional AMG Performance Package increases output to 480 hp (358 kW / 487 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. Trading on the Cruze' racing credentials, having won the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) last year, Chevrolet touts it's top-selling global nameplate as well-suited to European driving tastes. Its body-frame integral system (BFI) and chassis-tuning providing for a tight, sport ride for the 5-door hatch. The Cruze hatchback features a 400 liter boot capacity and a 60/40 split rear seating, as is typical of European hatches.

Veelal nog in een ontwikkelstadium, zoals de IBe van Seat. Op een fraai gelegen circuit in de buurt van Barcelona mochten we een paar rondjes maken in de stilste Seat ooit.
