Mazda debut Mazda3 today at 2011 New York Motor Show. They expand SkyActive Engine technology with Mazda3 model with revised look and will be available in both hatchback and sedan versions. The new 2012 Mazda3 SkyActive Engine will be a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine. The SkyActive 2.0-liter four-cylinder produces 155 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque, compared to 148 hp and 135 lb-ft of the current MZR 2.0-liter engine found on the 2010 Mazda3. The engine is mated to a standard SKYACTIV-MT six-speed manual transmission or optional SKYACTIV-Drive six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2012 Mazda3 sedan can get an EPA rating of 40 mpg on the highway, which is approximately 21-percent improvement over the current MZR 2.0-liter engine and while city driving fuel economy is rated at 28 mpg.

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG has been revealed at New York Motor Show with new brand's 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 Engine. For regular 2012 E63 or 550 Models Mercedes-Benz is offering two levels of 518 horsepower which is enough power to drive standard car 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds with top speed 186 mph. The CLS63 AMG with powerful 5.5-liter engine channels its substantial resources through AMG's Speedshift MCT seven-speed transmission with unusual gearbox and this one also has a "Controlled Efficiency" mode, which is Mercedes-speak for a stop-start function. |
Jeep Grand Cherokee flesh here at the New York Auto Show. It is electronically limited to 155 miles per hour and runs from 0-60 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds. Jeep President and CEO Mike Manley had said he would have a hard time keeping a smile off his face when the SRT8 comes out.
However, it's hard to argue with the numbers and the smiles on our own faces after seeing the thing. Under the hood sits a new 6.4-liter Hemi V8, which produces 465-horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. That's an improvement of 45 units in both categories.

Nissan has revealed another new prototype concept for the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show, and it is called the Compact Sports Concept. According to detail provided Compact Sports Concept measures at only about 151 inches long and 57 inches tall. Its exterior design a cross between the Micra GTI model and the Nissan Leaf. As a result, the Nissan Compact Sports Concept is a bit too cute for a guy’s taste. As for the interior, it features red lighting accents and mesh cloth to enhance the sportiness.

Chinese automaker Geely will unveil Gleagle Geely GS-CC at 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, now they has launched the first photos. It is a coupe. According to the photos, Geely GS-CC has an interesting design with a cheese grater grille, a sweptback windscreen, as well as a large rear end. While for the exterior styling would not gain everybody over, the interior is unexpectedly great as it features top quality items as well as a sporty design.

Just like the C63 AMG sedan and wagon variants, power output stays the same via a 6.3-liter (6208cc) V8 engine with 451 hp (336 kW / 457 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. Connected through a seven-speed SpeedShift MCT transmission, the coupe dashes from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, also the same as the C63 sedan. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph) while fuel consumption using the combined NEDC figures remains a thirsty 12.0 L/100km. The optional AMG Performance Package increases output to 480 hp (358 kW / 487 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. GTA Motor has just rolled out its brand-new supercar, the V10-powered, 820-horsepower Spano here at the Geneva Motor Show. The car has a carbon fiber-kevlar composite and aluminum chassis, and will be limited to a run of 99 examples worldwide.
With all that power and very little weight, the Spano makes it to 60 mph in under three seconds, and GTA says it will top out at 217 mph. The car carries massive 380 mm (nearly 15-inch) six-piston caliper AP Racing disc brakes with ABS, and the brakes sap off speed with the help of a ridiculous wide set of Pirelli PZero Rosso 330s (19- and 20-inches wide, respectively).2012 GTA Spano - Geneva Auto Show
