Lotus which is British sports car manufacturer revealed the first pictures of Lotus Elite supercar. It revives a name that Lotus has not used for nearly 20 years. Its price is around £115,000 and will go on sale in spring 2014.(usd$190,000)
The Lotus Elite is not only visually stunning, with a shark-like look, but features some of the latest technologies the firm has to offer. The emissions/performance ratio is low too with just 215g/km produced by the optional hybrid system. Lotus believe that there is nothing else like it out there both in terms of styling and performance.
The Elite will be powered by a hugely powerful front-mid mounted five-litre V8 engine,which delivering up to 620PS, so the speed 0-60MPH is in just 3.5 seconds. Customers will also be able to specify a hybrid petrol

Ferrari has set out to destroy the belief that hybrid vehicles must be low on power to achieve efficiency. The experimental vehicle by Ferrari, dubbed the HY-Kers, is a high performance car with enough bite to wear the Ferrari badge, yet still be labeled a hybrid. The HY-Kers debuted at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show to shocked spectators, whom were in disbelief that Ferrari would focus on a sports car emitting 30% less CO2 emissions. In addition, this show car represents Ferrari’s pledge to further reduce its lineup’s fuel consumption by up to 40%.

Especially designed to give a proper mix between land and water capabilities, each wheel of Audi Hydron is driven by an electric engine that can turn 90°. In the water however; Hydron is driven by hollow axe wheels. David’s three-seater electric amphibious vehicle has looks of a car but it could be used as a boat wherever required.
The features independent turning wheels and many several driving modes like parking mode and the rotation mode to name a few. On the top of this, it is possible to have front, rear or 4 wheel drive for that ultimate fun on land and water.

As you may recall, the AF-10 features a carbon fiber body shell (built by EPM Technology), a light 1260 kg (2777 lbs) weight, and chassis tuning by Loris Bicocchi (who also worked on the Bugatti Veyron). Other goodies include 19-inch wheels and a cabin with leather upholstery and a GPS navigation system.
Under the hood, the car is outfitted with the 550 bhp 7.0-liter V8 engine from the Corvette Z06. Connected to a six-speed Graziano transmission (or the optional six-speed sequential gearbox from Zonda F), the AF-10 is expected to hit a top speed of 220 mph.

Following the successful North American debut of the McLaren MP4-12C at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, McLaren Automotive will begin a launch tour of its selected North America dealership locations. Prospective customers will have the opportunity to see the 12C in the metal and speak to the team responsible for groundbreaking newcomer.
A Supernova Silver 12C, Titanium Silver 12C and the XP13 rolling chassis were presented to over 1,000 guests at the Pebble Beach event by a McLaren Automotive team including Managing Director Antony Sheriff and Design Director Frank Stephenson. Visitors to the McLaren Automotive display included Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger and world-famous car collector, Jay Leno.

The new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport takes production sports cars to a whole new dimension
Wolfsburg/Molsheim, July 4, 2010 - on a beautiful sunny day at 25 degrees the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport achieved a new landspeed world record for production cars, on the proving grounds of the Volkswagen Group at Ehra-Lessien (nearby its headquarters at Wolfsburg). In the presence of the German Technical Inspection Agency (TÜV) and a representative of Guinness Book of Records the Super Sport achieved an average top speed of 431 km/h.

British car manufacturer Aston Martin has been collaborating with Star Electric Cars France to create a new project dubbed Super Sport.
The Aston Martin Super Sport Limited Edition will have a twin-turbocharged 5.4 liter V8 engine, which produces up to 950 bHp. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transaxle, fully synchronized with an integral, torque-sensing, helical limited-slip differential. If requested a F1 paddle shift gearbox is available.
