If you think 1,000 horsepower from the Bugatti Veyron is a bit too much, then wait till you see the “Lamborghini” Indomable Concept with 2,000 horsepower, which will head to production as the Mostro Di-Potenza SF22 by 215 Racing company. The Lamborghini Indomable Concept was designed by Daniel Chinchilla Ochoa and Alberto Fernandez Albilares, who were sponsored by Lamborghini during the design process, but the supercar ended up looking so good (we agreed) that a company called 215 Racing bought the rights of the Indomable Design, and it is going to turn the concept design into a reality. |
Lamborghini's fifth generation V12 supercar made its official debut in Geneva, and while we've already detailed every aspect of the Aventador LP700-4 in our in-depth article we published yesterday, today we finally had the opportunity to get some first person impressions of the latest Raging Bull.
Lamborghini had three Aventadors on display, ranging from the bright orange example we first saw in the studio photos to a more subtle grey and a stunning matte white. The white, in particular, shows off the various styling elements of the exterior, especially the muscular creases on the front and sides. Despite having more complex lines, the Aventador still manages to have a cleaner look than some of the later generation Murcielagos. Via Facebook we received yet another 'leaked' picture of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. During the past few days numerous pictures of the upcoming Murcielago successor appeared on the web. It all started with a magazine cover that showed the red Aventador undisguised. Soon after we saw pictures of the side, front and interior of the car. The only view still missing until today was the rear of the Aventador. Various sources suggest Lamborghini will not show one but three Aventador's in Geneva in the colours Grigio Estoque, Blanco Isis and Arancia Argos. Additionally there will be a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Bicolore present at the Lamborghini stand in Geneva next week.

But that hasn't stopped Auto Express getting an exclusive drive in a prototype of the newcomer, codenamed LP837. And now, the full spec of the new car, which will use the LP700-4 badge, has been leaked online thanks to a dealer brochure which was poster on the Teamspeed internet forum. As expected, the car is powered by a 6.5-litre V12 which develops 690bhp and 690Nm. Top speed is now confirmed at 217mph and the 0-62mph sprint is over in just 2.9 seconds. Power reaches the road via a seven-speed robotized gearbox which swaps cogs in just 50 milliseconds and an electronically-controlled Haldex four-wheel drive system. The car features racecar-style pushrod suspension. Lamborghini has opted to fit 19-inch rims at the front and 20-inch rims at the back, while the carbon-ceramic brakes are an enormous 400mm in diameter at the front, and 380mm at the back.
