After stunning the world with the GranCabrio at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, Maserati will use the 2011 Geneva Motor Show to take its grand-touring convertible to a new level of performance and handling with the GranCabrio Sport. Conceived to give the GranCabrio a harder-edged model to sit alongside the GranTurismo S and the Quattroporte Sport GT S, the GranCabrio Sport uses a more powerful and fuel-efficient version of Maserati's, all-alloy 4.7-litre V8, coupled with the ZF six-speed automatic transmission. This naturally aspirated engine produces in this configuration 331 kW (450 horsepower) and has 510 Nm at the peak of its rich, thick torque curve. Maserati's Friction Reduction Program has made the GranCabrio Sport's engine more reactive to the driver's most-nuanced inputs, while reaching a 6% reduction in fuel consumption. The BMW Vision ConnectedDrive Concept is a two-passenger roadster seeking to push new boundaries in the realm of automotive technology. The topless concept borrows much of its design from the Vision EfficientDynamics concept that's on the road to production, but this showcar focuses on three areas; comfort, safety and infotainment. Each category provides feedback and data to the driver by means of a light display spread throughout the vehicle.

Maserati's Friction Reduction Program has made the GranCabrio Sport's engine more reactive to the driver's most-nuanced inputs thanks to a revision of the oil sump's fluid dynamics and the Diamond-Like Coating of the tappets and the camshaft lobes, while achieving a further 6% reduction in fuel consumption. The top speed of the GranCabrio Sport is 285 km/h and the 0-100 km/h sprint is now reduced to 5.2s.

Lancia is under attack by rebadged Chryslers and the situation is getting pretty ugly. First and foremost, the Thema is the brand's new flagship and is based on the Chrysler 300. It has revised styling and nicer interior with a Poltrona Frau leather dashboard, wood trim, and blue ambient lighting. Under the hood, three V6 engines will be available. The 3.6-liter petrol produces 292 hp (218 kW / 296 PS), while the 3.0-liter diesel churns out 190 hp (142 kW / 193 PS) and 224 hp (167 kW / 227 PS). The petrol is connected to an eight-speed automatic, while the diesel is backed up by a five-speed auto. No word on pricing, but the Thema will go on sale in October. If you need something a little more spacious, the Grand Voyager is your answer. It is based on the Chrysler Town & Country and replaces the slow-selling Phedra. The small car Fiat Uno and Fiat 500 had huge success, and the UNO more than 6 million units are sold. Now Fiat debuts the Fiat Uno Cabrio Concept based on the new Fiat Uno platform.
Fiat Uno Cabrio Concept has been developed by the company’s Brazilian branch. Fiat Uno Cabrio is currently just a design study which is being used to show off what is possible using the new Uno’s chassis. It will be exhibited for the first time at the next Sao Paolo International Auto Show. The vehicle is a two-seater based on Uno, which received a retractable soft top instead of rear seats.
The Fiat Uno Concept Cabrio is an open-top two-passenger two-door. Fiat says the concept is aimed at younger consumers and is “an example of the alternatives that can be generated from the New Uno platform.
