Chinese automaker Geely will unveil Gleagle Geely GS-CC at 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, now they has launched the first photos. It is a coupe. According to the photos, Geely GS-CC has an interesting design with a cheese grater grille, a sweptback windscreen, as well as a large rear end. While for the exterior styling would not gain everybody over, the interior is unexpectedly great as it features top quality items as well as a sporty design.

Just like the C63 AMG sedan and wagon variants, power output stays the same via a 6.3-liter (6208cc) V8 engine with 451 hp (336 kW / 457 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. Connected through a seven-speed SpeedShift MCT transmission, the coupe dashes from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, also the same as the C63 sedan. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph) while fuel consumption using the combined NEDC figures remains a thirsty 12.0 L/100km. The optional AMG Performance Package increases output to 480 hp (358 kW / 487 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. The topless concept borrows much of its design from the Vision EfficientDynamics concept that's on the road to production, but this showcar focuses on three areas; comfort, safety and infotainment. Each category provides feedback and data to the driver by means of a light display spread throughout the vehicle.
