Novitec have three world premieres at this years Geneva Auto Salon. The Novitec Race 606 is based on the Ferrari California. It's an updated package to the California presented at last years show. The most noticeable difference is the two-tone design, which has been extended on this car to cover the roof and include more bare carbon fiber. Other than that, the tuning package remains the same; power output is increased from the standard 460hp to 606hp at 7900rpm and peak torque jumps from 485Nm to 603Nm at 5500rpm. The front and rear spoilers together with the rear diffuser create an optimal aerodynamic balance. Rocker panel blades, side air outlets in the front fenders, mirror covers and the rear molding are changed as well. Also made entirely from carbon fibers is the hood centerpiece, the radiator grille, the outer skin of the folding hardtop and the taillight surrounds. complete story

Posted on 4 March, 2011 by bestcarreviews.Tags: 2011, MTM, Audi, R8, V10, Biturbo, (2011, Geneva, Auto, Show) The hand-polished MTM Audi R8 V10 BiTurbo has come out from its shell with its little brother, the MTM Audi TTRS, in Geneva today. We said previously this thing would be visible from space, and it looks like we were right. The naked polished aluminum body work took nearly 700 man hours to get looking just so, and we gotta say, it was worth it. The MTM R8 BiTurbo sports the mirror-like good looks of Audi's seminal 1991 Avus Quattro concept (remember that?), but packs a Joe Louis-worthy knockout punch with twin hairdryers bolted to its 5.2-liter FSI V10, routed through the stock R8 V10's six-speed manual. The worked-over mill is good for 777 hp and a top speed of 224 mph. Youtube Video

The Czech automaker, part of of the VW Group, has unveiled its new company logo along with the Skoda VisionD Concept and new corporate design revealed on the eve of the Geneva auto show, a concept model which previews the brand's new design paradigm. The new Skoda logo features a more prominent winged-arrow design with its color now a lush "Skoda Green" instead of the previous "natural" green.
