Kia's all-new Optima is about to hit dealers with a starting price of $18,995 and now Kia has unveiled the hybrid version of the Optima, the third Optima model.
The Optima Hybrid uses the same system as the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, which is a 2.4L engine mated to an electric motor that is powered by a lithium polymer battery.

Although for years minivans have had a stigma attached to them, they seem to be making a comeback. Toyota, Honda and Chrysler all have new minivans for 2011. Although Kia has the Sedona minivan, it's only making slight changes to its minivan for the new year.
The 2011 Sedona gets the new corporate grille and LED turn indicators have been added to the mirrors. The only other big change is under the hood where the Sedona benefits from Kia's 3.5L V6 that puts out 271-hp up 27-hp from the old engine. The 3.5L is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The base Sedona LX starts at $24,595.

The 2010 KIA SUV Sorento has been reinvented in its second generation as a far more relevant, if slightly less macho, crossover. And not a moment too soon.
The chassis is shared with the Hyundai Santa Fe and has a strut-type suspension in front and a multilink design at the back. In place of the outgoing model’s wheezy 3.3- and 3.8-liter V-6s are a miserly 2.3-liter four-cylinder and a gutsy 3.5-liter V-6. All transmissions—a manual for base four-bangers and autos for the rest—have six forward speeds. Kia has released another special edition vehicle in the Soul model, known as Ghost Soul. It’s a haunting experience for a limited engagement and offers plenty of options for an otherwise basic ride. Performance enthusiasts need not apply, but the Ghost special edition Soul offers some nice amenities to justify the price.
