2012 Jaguar XKR-S coupe has been revealed ahead of its debut later today at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Jaguar was one of the few brands to kick things off for this year’s 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show by fully revealing their latest halo car. Taking the brand’s title as the most powerful and fastest open-top GT Jaguar ever built, the sheets were pulled off of their XKR-S Convertible today.

Jaguar just introduced the revised 2012 Jaguar XF sport sedan today at the New York Auto Show. Jaguar has made numerous revisions to make the XF more sportier and elegantly sleek looking since its first launch in 2008. The 2012 XF and 2012 XFR models are restyled with front and rear ends, along with a few interior changes. In exterior features the Jaguar XF revised headlamp design that integrated LED daytime running lights arranged in a unique Jaguar ‘J-Blade’ signature. And at the rear, the 2012 XF revised bumper and trunk lid. Incorporated in the rear end are new larger sized taillamps with full-LED lighting. Few minor chances have been made interior to the Jaguar XF such as new leather seats, new sterring wheel, a revised instrument panel,blue ambient lighting and three new veneer choices: Satin Rosewood, Satin Elm and Bright Knurled Aluminium.

Italian design studio Bertone came to the 2011 Geneva Motor Show with the B99 concept, a design study for a prospective Jaguar rival to the likes of the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The sleek show car fostered rumors that perhaps Jaguar itself, which has been considering a successor to the discontinued X-Type, had commissioned Bertone to design the purple machine that graced the Geneva stage. According to new reports, however, Bertone was apparently on its own with this one.
Speaking with Jaguar's global brand director Adrian Hallmark, Automotive News reports that the British automaker is passing on the concept car. Jaguar released the 2011 Jaguar XKR-S sports car at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. It is already a pretty wonderous piece to drive and look at, and it is the hot-as-a-scorching-summer’s-day XKR-S.
The 2011 Jaguar XKR-S features exclusive new paint colors that reflect Jaguar’s racing heritage. The exterior of the XKR-S adheres to the principle of form following function. As we know the XKR-S has an aggressive front fascia, aerodynamic side skirts, and LED-infused headlights. Elsewhere, the car is equipped with black mesh grille inserts, new front fenders, a sporty rear diffuser, and a massive rear wing.

The 2010 Jaguar XF is available with new, more powerful engines. The lineup also gains a high-performance model, the XFR. The transmission includes steering-wheel paddles for manual gear changes. The Supercharged and XFR have specific tires, brakes, and trim. They also have Jaguar's new Adaptive Dynamics suspension, which automatically adjusts firmness based on road conditions to balance ride and handling. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, and front-side airbags. A navigation system, rearview camera, blind-spot monitoring system, and adaptive cruise control are available. Jaguar offering the XF sedan with a new Black Pack appearance package, patterned after a similar option offered earlier this year on the XK. Jaguar XF is successful XF sports saloon.
The exclusive new Black Pack brings an added sense of power and purpose to the sought-after XF range, and follows closely in the wheel tracks of a similar option on the XK sports car which has aroused huge interest since its launch earlier in 2010.

Tata have confirmed that a BMW 3-Series rival designed to sit below the XF and replace the X-Type is already under development. There are few details in terms of what to expect if and when it hits production.
Jaguar wants to take on its German competitors globally, a smaller, higher sales volume saloon was a necessity, and so work has begun on the new car. Although the Ford Mondeo-based first-generation X-Type was hardly a sales success, a replacement is on the cards, thanks in part to the positive reception the RD6 concept received at the Frankfurt Motor Show seven years ago. In keeping with the XF and XJ, the next car will feature a cutting-edge design, but to separate itself from the larger models, there will be plenty of smooth curves instead of sharp creases.
