Nissan just unveiled a racing version of the Leaf electric car at the New York Auto Show. The Nissan Leaf NISMO RC (Racing Competition) uses similar electric components as the production Leaf, but built on different platform. The Nissan Leaf NISMO RC is pretty much a race car. It has no doors, carpet, stereo system or anything of that nature. As a matter of fact, the only thing that is similar to the Nissan Leaf pedestrian car is the zero emission advanced Lithium-ion battery design.

Nissan Motor Corp unveiled its new sub-compact model Tiida hatchback at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show today. As you may already know, the Tiida is the same as the Versa sold in the U.S., but this time, it is more shapely of the Nissan Leaf electric car.
