
Volkswagen Bluesport concept is powered by a 180 HP turbodiesel motor mounted amidship. Despite its concept status, VW is promising fairly realistic performance. This includes a 0-60 MPH time of 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 140 MPH. Though not Prius-killing, the 42 MPG combined mileage (we’re guessing in the European cycle) is impressive for a sports car and would surely top any known competitors.

Volkswagen E-Lavida concept was designed and developed by Shanghai Volkswagen, it is an electric version of its Chinese-market Lavida sedan which is based on the global Golf. Volkswagen has unveiled at Auto China 2010 in Beijing.
E-Lavida concept is Volkswagen’s first car to be totally designed and produced in China and could be in production by 2013. Available in the China since 2008 the Lavida is based on the Golf MKIV (aka the PQ34 platform). Besides introducing the E-Lavida, Volkswagen outlined their EV (dubbed e-Mobility) strategy for China. In 2013 or 2014, the company will begin producing electric vehicles in China.

MR Car Design decided Winter Edition upgrade program for the Volkswagen Touran, MR Car Design decided to give the Volkswagen Touran a complete stage 1 treatment, modifying both the exterior design and the power of the engine. For this project, MR Car Design used a Volkswagen Touran equipped with a 2.0 TDI diesel engine.
The styling modifications include the white racing stripes and a new set of 19 inch alloy wheels by RC Design in a white finish with Vredestein tires of sizes 235/35 R19. Thus, you can say that they decided to only subtly modify the aspect of the Volkswagen Touran .
Moving on to the technical modifications, MR Car Design decided to install a Stoptech high performance braking system with four piston calipers as well as a sport suspension kit by KW that lowers the ride height by up to 80 millimeters.
