Mercedes says the 2013 SL is at least 20 percent more rigid than its predecessor, reducing torsional chassis flex that can steal handling and produce squeaks and rattles. The reduced weight, in conjunction with Mercedes' latest engine technologies including direct injection, pushes the new SL to be 30 percent more fuel efficient than the previous version.

The ML63 AMG puts down 518 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, though an optional AMG Performance Package raises those numbers to 550 and 560, respectively. This power is put to the ground via Merc's AMG Speedshift Plus seven-speed transmission, driving all four wheels in the case of the ML63. The Performance Pack also raises the SUV's top speed from 155 miles per hour to 174, and the extra grunt reduces the ML63's 0-to-60-mph time from 4.7 seconds to 4.6.

Mercedes-Benz is said to deliver two new engines for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz E-Class in both the E350 and E550 models will receive new powerplants of a new direct-injection 3.5-liter V6 engine that is currently found in the SLK350 Roadster. The V6 engine is rated at 302 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, which is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. And if that doesn’t make your heart pounds, the there is a new twin-turbocharged 4.6-liter V8 producing 402 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. So there you have it, something new for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Mercedes Motor Corp revealed its new redesigned 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK350 roadster model at 2011 New York Motor Show with more power along with revised sheetmetal body. 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK350 receives a new 302 horsepower direct-injection 3.5-liter V6 engine and 273 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. It can pass 0-60 mph in just about 5.5 seconds. In addition, mercedes will launch a less-powerful SLK250 model at this june. The 2012 SLK250 will be powered by a new turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder that produces 201 hp and 229 lb-ft. Initially offering will be only with a seven-speed automatic.

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG has been revealed at New York Motor Show with new brand's 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 Engine. For regular 2012 E63 or 550 Models Mercedes-Benz is offering two levels of 518 horsepower which is enough power to drive standard car 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds with top speed 186 mph. The CLS63 AMG with powerful 5.5-liter engine channels its substantial resources through AMG's Speedshift MCT seven-speed transmission with unusual gearbox and this one also has a "Controlled Efficiency" mode, which is Mercedes-speak for a stop-start function. |
Mercedes-Benz Concept A-Class debuted both New York and Shanghai Auto Shows. Now comes word that the Benz is officially earmarked for sale in the United States. While we certainly won't get all of the dramatic styling touches of the Concept A-Class, the version for the masses will take cues from the aggressive front-end.
After the initial launch, Mercedes-Benz will bring us a five-door hatchback and a shapely-sedan modeled in the CLS.

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster will be fitted with a new 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine, which develops up to 571 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque, there’s chance the new SLS AMG Roadster may pick up this option. So the SLS from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4.0 seconds, and onward to a top speed of nearly 200 mph.
