Lumma Design and the car tuners from Topcar Moscow had presented us an upgrade package for the new BMW 5-Series. After this initial design, the official information and pictures are finally unveiled – the kit is called CLR 500 RS2.

BMW`s new design kit includes a carbon fiber hood, new front bumper, side skirts, wide rear fenders, carbon fiber rear trunk spoiler, a rear bumper with integrated rear diffuser and dark tail lights. In the interior we see a combination of carbon and leather, which looks pretty good actually.

APS of Brackley, UK importer for the Swiss Sportec range of exclusive vehicle enhancements, is delighted to announce a new performance upgrade for the 2009 onward models of the Audi S5 quattro coupe and cabriolet using the 3.0-litre supercharged, V6, TFSI powerplant.

Labelled the ‘Stage One’ upgrade, Sportec’s S5 performance enhancement package consists of a free flowing air filter element and a carefully developed ECU remap. In combination this has a dramatic effect on the power characteristics of the supercharged 2995cc Audi engine, with peak power increasing from 328 bhp at 6000 rpm to 425 bhp at 6640 rpm, a significant gain of 97 bhp.

Ferrari has set out to destroy the belief that hybrid vehicles must be low on power to achieve efficiency.  The experimental vehicle by Ferrari, dubbed the HY-Kers, is a high performance car with enough bite to wear the Ferrari badge, yet still be labeled a hybrid.  The HY-Kers debuted at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show to shocked spectators, whom were in disbelief that Ferrari would focus on a sports car emitting 30% less CO2 emissions.  In addition, this show car represents Ferrari’s pledge to further reduce its lineup’s fuel consumption by up to 40%.

Kia has released another special edition vehicle in the Soul model, known as Ghost Soul.  It’s a haunting experience for a limited engagement and offers plenty of options for an otherwise basic ride.  Performance enthusiasts need not apply, but the Ghost special edition Soul offers some nice amenities to justify the price.  The Ghost Soul is not the first special edition model from Kia, they also offer an Ignition, Denim, and Shadow Dragon Soul version.  So what makes this Ghost unique?

Research and development teams at Mitsubishi have been working on building a car that can combine a green personality with a high performance demeanor.  The Mitsubishi RA concept car is the result of such an endeavor.  The RA was built to utilize clean diesel technology without sacrificing adrenaline producing performance.  Like most concept cars, it’s extreme in it’s design and aspirations, but worth taking a look at.

The Ford GTX1 was unveiled in Las Vegas In November 2005.  It is a roadster version of the Ford GT, the car body is yellow. It was performed by the Genaddi Design Group. It included optional performance upgrades to the suspension, brakes, aerodynamics, and an improved supercharger that increases power to 700 hp (520 kW).

A swath of convincing or real (depending on trim level) wood trim flows into a neat waterfall center stack that integrates the car’s sizable number of electronic functions. The standard 10-speaker Bose surround-sound system is so superb that you’d swear Gladys Knight was riding shotgun, with the Pips crammed in back.
