The latest Peugeot EX1 Concept just made a lap record at the Nürburgring in Germany. The french protype electric car is the fastest on the track, which clocked in at of 9’01 “338 with an average speed 86 mph.

Nissan just unveiled a racing version of the Leaf electric car at the New York Auto Show. The Nissan Leaf NISMO RC (Racing Competition) uses similar electric components as the production Leaf, but built on different platform. The Nissan Leaf NISMO RC is pretty much a race car. It has no doors, carpet, stereo system or anything of that nature. As a matter of fact, the only thing that is similar to the Nissan Leaf pedestrian car is the zero emission advanced Lithium-ion battery design.
Since much of the amenities have been gutted out, the NISMO RC electric race car is about 40 percent lighter than the production Leaf. In addition, it is built on a carbon fiber monocoque platform to reduce weight down to just about 2,068 pounds. |
To mark the occasion, the groom Prince William of Wales, and his bride-to-be, Kate Middleton, have been "honored" by exotic car customizer, Project Kahn. The Project Kahn Wedding Commemorative Maybach 57 is a blatant PR grab "tribute" to the new royal couple that will have nothing at all to do with the royal wedding itself reside at Project Kahn's Bradford headquarters. They added super Benz features kahn-designed 22-inch wheels, smoked glass, darkened tail lamps and upgraded luxury interior. with modified license plate "4 HRH" means For His Royal Highness.

Renault launched a special edition of its Laguna coupe called the Monaco GP edition few months ago. To satisfy customers' demand for more, Renault has announced a second run of the cars. They proved an instant hit, selling out in short order. Renault Laguna Coupe started off with Black Edition coupe. The body is offset by the black roof and black Interlagos 18-inch alloys, while inside the cabin, the high-contrast treatment is continued. French buyers can also choose between two diesels engine models at 150 or 175 horsepower, with an extra options list ranging from four-wheel steering to a Bose sound system.

Bugatti just introduced its two latest models, fastest production cars at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, the Grand Sport Veyron and Super Sport Veyron. The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport is no doubt the most powerful and fastest convertible super car in the world. It is powered with a 980-hp engine with a screaming 1,000 lb-ft of torque. It has a top speed of 224 mph. The new Bugatti Grand Sport Veyron is finished in matte white with blue carbon fiber, and with a exotic blue interior with white stitching.

Shelby Motor Corp just introduceds its 2012 Shelby GTS Mustang at the 2011 New York Auto Show to keep mind for youger audience. You may also know that Shelby Mustangs are too expensive and most of owners who can affort these Mustangs are usually passed 50s. So Shelby introduced affordable GTS Mustang to attract younger customers.

Jaguar just introduced the revised 2012 Jaguar XF sport sedan today at the New York Auto Show. Jaguar has made numerous revisions to make the XF more sportier and elegantly sleek looking since its first launch in 2008. The 2012 XF and 2012 XFR models are restyled with front and rear ends, along with a few interior changes. In exterior features the Jaguar XF revised headlamp design that integrated LED daytime running lights arranged in a unique Jaguar ‘J-Blade’ signature. And at the rear, the 2012 XF revised bumper and trunk lid. Incorporated in the rear end are new larger sized taillamps with full-LED lighting. Few minor chances have been made interior to the Jaguar XF such as new leather seats, new sterring wheel, a revised instrument panel,blue ambient lighting and three new veneer choices: Satin Rosewood, Satin Elm and Bright Knurled Aluminium.

Mazda debut Mazda3 today at 2011 New York Motor Show. They expand SkyActive Engine technology with Mazda3 model with revised look and will be available in both hatchback and sedan versions. The new 2012 Mazda3 SkyActive Engine will be a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine. The SkyActive 2.0-liter four-cylinder produces 155 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque, compared to 148 hp and 135 lb-ft of the current MZR 2.0-liter engine found on the 2010 Mazda3. The engine is mated to a standard SKYACTIV-MT six-speed manual transmission or optional SKYACTIV-Drive six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2012 Mazda3 sedan can get an EPA rating of 40 mpg on the highway, which is approximately 21-percent improvement over the current MZR 2.0-liter engine and while city driving fuel economy is rated at 28 mpg.

2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse SE model will be available on all trim levels of GS, GS Sport and GT. It includes a few measly improvements such as “SE” decals, black side mirrors and 18-inch dark finish alloy wheels. Two engine options available with the 2012 Eclipse SE 162-hp 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine for the GS/GS Sport models 265-hp 3.8-liter V6 engine for the GT model.
