The latest Peugeot EX1 Concept just made a lap record at the Nürburgring in Germany. The french protype electric car is the fastest on the track, which clocked in at of 9’01 “338 with an average speed 86 mph.

From what we know, the Peugeot EX1 Concept was debuted at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, and it was powered by two electric motors to provide a total maximum 250 kW (340 hp) and 180 lb-ft of torque to the four-wheel drive system. And we expect this recent Peugeot EX1 Concept is powered by the same pair of electric motors.
The futuristic looking electric car is designed with light weight materials and offering state of the arts techology. It features double wishbone front and a rear suspension consists of a single “swinging arm” linked to a centrally mounted shock absorber which is connected via a rocker arm to provide a variable damping rate. While the monocoque body structure is made of a carbon/honeycomb composite to optimize weight and rigidity, which provides all of the mounting points for the car’s mechanical components.
