Volkswagen car maker has unveiled new Van car model range series with a new addition, it’s Volkswagen Transporter Rockton 4motion, which as you can see is oriented towards out-door activities and off-road terrains.

Powering the all-wheel drive Rockton is a 2.0 liter TDI engine with an output choice of either 140 PS (138 bhp / 103 kW) and 180 PS (178 bhp / 132 kW). Standard is a six-speed manual gearbox but special gearing can be had with the Expedition package option.

On the Volkswagen Transporter Rockton 4MOTION Expedition the automaker offers 16 inch all-terrain tires wrapped around reinforced steel wheels, an upgraded transmission, more suitable for off-road operation and a pair of removable seats. As an option for the new version of the van, VW is offering various protection part for under the Volkswagen Transporter Rockton. This will prove them selves useful when driving over rocks and rough terrain. they protect the fuel tank, transmission, rear axle and exhaust system of the VW Transporter Rockton.

In case customers want more than the list of features mentioned above, then they will have go choose either the Expedition or the Protective package, both versions offering extra added equipment.

Prices for the Transporter Rockton 4MOTION begin at €34,545. Fitted with the Expedition package prices start at €42,490.
